LOOF, Local Organic Food Finder, is an app that helps the users to access and find information about producers or sellers (farms, shops, cafés) of local/organic food via an interactive map. On top of that, information about local communities/organisations that are promoting local/organic food is provided. The users can also find relevant news regarding food, farming, etc., or search for any related events happening in their area. LOOF also helps the users with foraging by giving them information about what is able to be found growing wildly and what of it is edible. The whole app is a concept and its features could be further developed, for example, sharing information on the interactive map about what could found growing and where, ordering food from a farm, providing feedback, and much more could be added.
